Natascha Fioretti was born in Germany in 1976. She is a research assistant for the Communication Sciences faculty at the University of Lugano. She also collaborates with the European Journalism Observatory, managing the Italian Web site as well as coordinating and promoting EJO events. Bilingual in Italian and German, she has a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature Studies with a special focus on Theory and Techniques of Communication achieved at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano (Italy) and a Master’s degree in New Technology Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage obtained at the Università della Svizzera italiana (Switzerland). She is currently working on her dissertation, “Evolution and Tendencies of Cultural Pages in Newspapers: A Comparative Study of Italy, Germany and England.” Aside from her work with EJO, as a freelance journalist Natascha writes for a variety of print publications.
